Banana Bread


2 ripe bananas
1 ½ tsp salt
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup caster sugar
4 eggs
2 ¼ cups Freemills self-raising flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil


Step 1
Preheat oven at 170C, and line a loaf tin with baking paper

Step 2
Blitz or thoroughly mash the bananas

Step 3
Mix in the eggs, milk, and oil into the mashed bananas

Step 4
Sift the flour, sugars, salt, and baking powders together in a separate bowl

Step 5
Add the dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients, and mix thoroughly

Step 6
Pour into prepared tin and bake for one hour or until golden, and skewer comes out clean
